Zain Mehmood roared to victory in the elite A-Prepared Category of the 20th Cholistan Desert Rally 2025, cementing his status among Pakistan’s rally legends. Set against the unforgiving backdrop of the Cholistan Desert, the event organized by the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) once again proved to be the ultimate test of skill, speed, and endurance.
Dominating the Desert
Clocking an exceptional time of 03:56:54, Mehmood outpaced rally veterans Nadir Magsi & Nusrat Ali (03:58:48), while Jaffar Magsi & Ibrahim Khakwani secured third place at 04:05:41 in the A-Prepared category.
A Celebration of Speed Across Categories
It wasn’t just the A-Prepared class that delivered drama and excitement. The B-Prepared Category was fiercely contested, with Asad Shadikhel & Fayyaz Hammad taking top honors. In the C-Prepared Category, Falak Sher Khan & Allah Noor led the charge, while the Women-Prepared Category saw an electrifying win by Dina Patel & Ali Aden. The Veterans Category was commanded by seasoned racers Amir Magsi & Rehan Qureshi, proving age is no barrier in the world of rally racing.
