Hub Rally Cross is Pakistan’s premier off-road rally‑cross series held annually at the Max Dirt Arena and Gaddani coastal tracks about 45 km from Karachi, on the Sindh-Balochistan border.
Launched in 2012 by Shujaat Sherwani of Sherwani Group & Toyota Hub Motors, the event began on an 11 km sea‑facing course and has since expanded to a demanding 50 km multi-terrain romp over sand, mud, rocks, and coastal stretches.
The format features multiple categories, such as, Prepared, Stock, Women, and even a new “Veteran” class for drivers over 60, posing an authentic 4×4 challenge with mandatory safety gear like roll bars, helmets, seat belts, and fire extinguishers.
Highlights from Previous Editions
7th Edition (Jan 2020): Talented racers like Sahibzada Sultan, Ronnie Patel, Asif Imam, Nadeem Khan, and women’s winner Tushna Patel battled across three categories. Around 15,000 spectators enjoyed the thrills.
6th Edition (2019): Featured Stock, Prepared, and Women’s races, with participation from major media outlets such as Geo, BOL, and Dunya. Winners included Mansoor Ali (Stock A), Ronnie Patel (Stock B), Salma Khan (Women’s), and Asif Imam (Prepared A).
Besides racing, spectators enjoy a festival‐style atmosphere: gliding, vehicle test‑drives, camping, food stalls, music, and award contests for best photos/videos.
